Gratitude Garden Opening

Families will be aware that the Gratitude Garden was officially opened by Mary Ann Thomas Parliamentary Secretary for Health.  A number of dignitaries attended this event.  A highlight of the event was the presentation of Gratitude Stones to our special visitors.  Grade 5 & 6 students had previously decorated these stones so that our visitors would have a memento of the day.  Gratitude Stones are used as a reminder to look on the bright side and be grateful for the good things in our life.

Students also worked on posters which were used to create a Gratitude Wall in the gym.  These posters showed things that the children at DPNPS are grateful for.  They certainly made a very thoughtful visual display.
